Some posts on blogs involve text. If we were writing about the Sports themed English Club, I would write this:
We had a mini “English Olympics” where the students got into teams representing different English speaking countries. They sang Take Me out to the Ball Game, presented on a bunch of different sports, and then played some vocabulary games. All of that was fun (and educational!), but the best part had to be the “mini sports breaks.” Representatives from each of the Olympic teams took turns trying to shoot a mini ball through the top of a stool and hit a ball with a “bat” made out of rolled up poster paper. All sorts of hilarity ensued and I could not have been happier with how our first meeting went.
